The Romanian Cultural Institute in Beijing proudly supports Romania's participation in the 4th China–CEEC Culture and Arts Carnival, held from June 20 to 22, 2025, at the Shougang Convention and Exhibition Center in Beijing. Organized by the Beijing Overseas Culture Exchanges Center in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture of the People's Republic of China, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture, and the local administration, this event serves as a significant platform for cultural exchange and international cooperation.
Romania will be represented by the band Spitalul de Urgență, featuring lead vocalist Dan Helciug, who will perform two exceptional concerts. Additionally, Romania will showcase a dedicated stand promoting Romanian culture and tourism, offering traditional products, publications, and informative materials that provide an authentic glimpse into Romania's cultural heritage.
The festival attracts over 10,000 visitors daily, making it an ideal venue for promoting Romanian artists and strengthening Romania's cultural presence internationally. Following the success of the previous edition, the Beijing Overseas Culture Exchanges Center extended an invitation for Romania to participate in the 4th edition, featuring a Romanian pop-rock band and a dedicated stand.
The event will take place in one of Beijing's newest exhibition centers, from June 20 to 22, 2025. Cultural events from other Central and Eastern European countries such as Poland, Bulgaria, Hungary, and the Czech Republic, as well as from China, will also be part of the festival.
During the opening ceremony, attended by diplomats from China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and ambassadors from Central and Eastern European countries, Dan Helciug will perform alongside a local band, interpreting "Your Eyes" by Lin Zhixuan, one of the most popular Chinese songs at the moment.
The program of the two 50-minute concerts by Spitalul de Urgență includes the following songs:
