The evening will also include Mozart’s Rondo in D for Piano and Orchestra, a piece that holds special significance for Alexandra, as it was the first work she performed publicly with an orchestra. In a more intimate setting, Alexandra will collaborate with ASMF musicians in the chamber performance of Clara Schumann’sThree Romances for Violin and Piano with Tomo Keller on violin. Additionally, she will join cellist Richard Harwood for Three Pieces for Cello and Piano by Nadia Boulanger, the esteemed composer, conductor, and teacher.
