The 22nd international book fair and literary festival will be held between 12 and 15 May 2016, at the Prague Holešovice Exhibition Centre.
The Romanian stand (no. 107), organized by the Ministry of Culture in partnership with the Romanian Cultural Institute in Prague, will be hosting the following Romanian writers: Ciprian Vălcan, Ioana Bâldea Constantinescu, Ana Maria Sandu, as well as the poets Răzvan Ţupa, Iulian Tănase and illustrator Adrian Barbu.
The literary sessions, two for each author, held both in Romanian and Czech languages, will revolve around the books presented at the stand, offering at the same time a platform for dialogue with the audience interested in the evolution of the contemporary Romanian literature.
In this context, Book World Prague 2016 stands for an opportunity to disseminate and promote Romanian books translated into Czech, as well as the Romanian publishing houses through their catalogues. Moreover, this event ensures the dialogue between specialists, readers and Romanian authors.
The literary sessions will be moderated and translated by: Libuše Valentová, Jiří Našinec, Jitka Lukešová and Hana Herrmannová.
