The 6th edition of the Beer Sheva International Fringe Theatre Festival will take place between July 11-13, 2017 in the Old City and the Beer Sheva Fringe Theatre.
The Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv supports the presence of the theatre and dance performance“Zic Zac”, directed by Andrea Gavriliu, as part of the international program of the festival.The performances will take place on July 12th, 2017, at 18:00 and 21:30 at the Beer Sheva Fringe Theatre (15 Anielewicz st, Old City).

Synopsis: Him and her in a nightclub. Against their will, they become the puppets of the DJ which influences through music their entire being. It starts as a paring ritual and slowly makes them give off all of their inhibitions, frustrations, hidden passions and fears until they are fully unleashed and ready to lose themselves in each other’s beings.
Zic Zac is our generation's performance. It speaks about a relationship's steps: likes and dislikes, brutish kickoffs and philosophical debates, sensibility and cruelty, personal fears and the need to find our other half. All these are embedded in a psychedelic trip full of humor and especially MUSIC!
An annual multi-disciplinary festival, which takes place the 7th year in a row, the Beer Sheva International Fringe Theatre Festival has become the biggest cultural event in the south of Israel. During the festival, 40 shows and over 200 artists will take part in the three days of performance program.
The artistic program presents a unique line of original, critical and diverse work, combining original productions, the best of fringe theatre productions, premieres that were created especially for the festival, and a selection of international shows that provide a fascinating and contemporary look at independent art.
During the festival, the audience will be able to enjoy street theater from Spain, a French street circus, Romanian dance show, and a highly acclaimed show from Austria. In addition, there will be music performances by Lola Marsh and Shafita, children's plays in the form of stage adaptation for literary classics such as The Little Prince and The Sixteenth Sheep, and street performances by local artists.
