Between the 15th and the 13th of December, 2008, the Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv hosted the photo-documentary exhibition "Colours of Time – Synagogue Art in Moldavia", property of The Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv, presenting works by the photographer Teodor Răileanu. This exhibition is a joint project between the Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv and the Bar-Ilan University, and is being coordinated by Ilia Rodov, PhD. from the Department of Jewish Art within the Bar-Ilan University.
