ICR Istanbul a initiat in acest an o serie de workshopuri sub egida Black Sea Historiographies. Al doilea eveniment al seriei are ca tema istoria sud-estului european in secolul al XIX-lea din perspectiva socio-economica. Intreaga serie de workshopuri este gandita ca un dialog intre istoricii romani si cei turci, in perpectiva crearii unei retele de cooperare academica.
