On October 13th and 15th there was a series of conferences organized by the Romanian Cultural Institute in Beijing. The conferences theme was "Competitive Romania" and they were organized in Beijing at the Romanian Cultural Institute and in Xian at the Shanxi Academy of Social Sciences.
The Romanian researchers Emilian M. Dobrescu and Edith Mihaela Dobre presented in Beijing and in Xian "25 Years of Transition" and "Romanian Economy in the World Economy". In Xian they also presented "Theories of Growth and Growth Poles of the Planet" and "Globalization. Integration. Regionalization. Personal Point of View".
