"If I Want to Whistle, I Whistle", winner of both the Jury Grand Prix Silver Bear as well as the Alfred Bauer award for cinematic innovation at the Berlin Film Festival earlier this year, is Romania's proposal for the Oscar.
The festive premiere of the film in Israel took place on the occassion of the 13th Tel Aviv International Student Film Festival, June 2010, with the support of the Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv.
