The Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv, in collaboration with Piatra Neamț Municipality, Children’s Palace in Piatra Neamț and Lod Municipality, will host, in the period 06.12.2018 – 18.01.2019, the painting and drawing exhibition “Bridges of color” by young Romanian and Israeli artists.
The exhibition is comprised of a series of works – drawings and oil and watercolor paintings created by the Israeli and Romanian teams during the international art competition Creativ 2018, which was held in July 2018 at Piatra Neamt. Because of its privileged location in the Eastern Carpathian Mountains, Piatra Neamt is considered one of the most picturesque cities in Romania. The artworks are the young artists' impressions of the city - the historical center with the beautiful old buildings, the designed residential houses, the stunning museums, the 15th century Stephen's Tower (the city symbol) in the medieval town square, the churches and the ancient synagogue named after "The Ba'al Shem Tov".
The opening of the exhibition will take place on Thursday, 06.12.2018, at 17:00, at RCI Tel Aviv gallery (8 Shaul Hamelech Blvd., 6th floor, Beit Amot Mishpat).
