Romanian director Andrei Ujica participates at the international symposium "Disasterology- 24 hours at the Petach Tikva Art Museum", January 15-16, 2014

Between January 15-16, 2014, the Petach Tikva Art Museum in collaboration with the Bezalel Art Academy, is organizing the international symposium "Disasterology - 24 hours at the Petach Tikva Art Museum". The event analyses the concept of disaster from a philosophical, architectural point of view and also through the lenses of international and Israeli documentary cinema, and it is comprised of a conference and an artistic sculptural performance.
Among the international participants at the conference, there is the Romanian director Andrei Ujică, whose films, such as "Videograms of a Revolution", document the political earthquake that took place in the 90's in Eastern Europe. On January, 16, 2014 at 6:30 pm, he will be participating at the panel entitled "The Golden Age of the documentary?", during which his film, "Out of the present", will be screened, followed by a discussion in English with the director.
The event will take place in Hebrew and English.
