The 14th edition of the StartPoint Competition presents the best works of artists who graduated from European Art Schools, to the Czech audience. The opening of the StartPoint Ehxibition 2016 will take place on Tuesday, October 4th, 2016, and it can be visited at the National Gallery in Prague (Veletrzni Palac) between October 5th - December 11th, 2016.
In Romania, the StartPoint Exhibition was hosted by the Victoria Art Center gallery in Bucharest. A selection of the best works by graduates from the Art Universities in Bucharest and Cluj has been presented. The international jury appointed by the organizers selected the Romanian participant to the final phase in Prague, Paula Oneț, who graduated from the Academy of Arts in Bucharest.
The Romanian Cultural Institute in Prague supports the participation of artist Paula Oneț and of event coordinator Gabriela Mateescu - from Victoria Art Center gallery in Romania -, to the opening, where the winners of this year's edition will be announced.
Also, two more Romanian artists, Mihalache Mihaela (Cluj-Napoca) and Sânziana Ceteraș (Iași), will be presented on the official website of the National Gallery in Prague.
