The FOUND.LOST.FOUND. jewelry exhibition will be a Romanian premiere at Designblok

Designblok Prague Design and Fashion Week is the most important design event in the Czech Republic. In 2016 its 18th edition will take place, Designblok having been successfully organized since 1999.

For the first time, with the support of the Romanian Cultural Institute in Prague, Romania will be represented this year by the FOUND.LOST.FOUND. project - contemporary jewelry installation with Dacian Thesaurus theme. The organizers selected this exhibition for the Openstudio Section, which will take place between October 26-31, 2016, in Vystaviste Holesovice exhibition centre (stand L 123).

Made by Assamblage - National Association of Contemporary Jewelry Designers - and conceived as a homage paid to a fabulous tradition, partly forgotten, the FOUND.LOST.FOUND. exhibition is a modern interpretation of the spectacular Dacian jewels created in shapes full of symbols. The project is therefore based on a creative update - relevant nowadays - to a valuable patrimony that comes to life and spills over the museum space. Thus, the visitors of Designblok will rediscover the Dacian Thesaurus in Prague through the works of contemporary jewelry by David Sandu, Otilia Mihalcea, Andreia Popescu, Ioana Ardelean, Adelina Petcan, Ludmila Buga and Diana Tobosaru - seven designers who embarked on an artistic journey through history.
