Series of events dedicated to commemorating 70 years since the deportation of Jews from Northern Transylvania, September 21- October 21, 2014, at RCI Tel Aviv

The Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv, in collaboration with The "Elie Wiesel" National Institute for the Study of Holocaust in Romania, is organizing, between September 21 – October 21, 2014, a series of events dedicated to commemorating 70 years since the deportation of Jews from Northern Transylvania. The events will take place at the Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv (8 Shaul Hamelech Blvd, 6th floor).

Prof. Dr. Alexandru Florian, general director of The "Elie Wiesel" National Institute for the Study of Holocaust in Romania: 70 years since the deportation of Jews from Northern Transylvania. A project of the memory;
Dr. Miriam Caloianu, the Center for the Study of the History of the Romanian Jews – The Hebrew University of Jerusalem: The drama of the Transylvanian Jews recalled in the memories of the survivors;
