The International Student Film Festival Tel Aviv will take place between June 2-9, 2012, at the Tel Aviv Cinematheque.The Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv supports the participation of the film director Siniša Dragin, the scriptwriter Răzvan Rădulescu, prof. Manuela Cernat (The National University of Performing Arts and Cinematography) and the students Cătălin Toma, Ioana Manciu, Vlad Pavel and Ilija Piperkoski.
The International Student Film Festival, Tel-Aviv is one of the largest festivals in the world for student films and is considered one of the most important in this field.
It has been run and produced since 1986 by film students from the Tel-Aviv University, and has gathered in its 20 years of existence much prestige and reputation.
At the 2012 edition of the Festival, the Romanian feature film If the Seed Doesn't Die (Romania 2010) will have a special screening, followed by a Q&A session with the director Siniša Dragin.
Siniša Dragin and Răzvan Rădulescu will hold master-classes on film directing and scritpwriting for the Israeli students.
Within the international competition, The National University of Performing Arts and Cinematography is represented by the students Cătălin Toma, Ioana Manciu, Vlad Pavel and Ilija Piperkoski.
