TLVFest, the LGBT International Film Festival will take place between June 8-17, 2013, at the Tel Aviv Cinematheque. With the support of the Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv, Alexandra Carastoian will be invited at this year's edition of TLVFest, to participate at the pitching session on June 13, during which there will be a special screening of her short film I want to know how it is. In the same time, Alexandra Carastoian (photographer and director/producer of independent films) will be a member in the jury of the "Best International Documentary Feature" competition.
TLVFest, the International LGBT Film Festival is the only festival of its kind in Israel. Each year, the festival attracts more and more audiences, and a growing number of journalists, cinema specialists and directors express their wish to attend the festival. In 2012, due to the expansion of the Tel Aviv Cinematheque, the number of daily screenings in the festival was increased. RCI Tel Aviv is on its third consecutive collaboration with this festival, supporting in the previous editions the screenings of the films Love sick, directed by Tudor Giurgiu (2011 edition) and Two of us, directed by Claudiu Mitcu (2012 edition).
