One of the most influential minds in contemporary science & philosophy comes to the greatest marathon of talks happening in NYC

One of the most influential names in the international scientific world and a star of the TED Talks circuit, engineering professor-turned-philosopher Adrian Bejan joins the stellar line-up of thinkers at the Night of Ideas, the greatest nocturnal marathon of talks taking place throughout the world. The 2023 edition’s theme is How Much More?and aims at interrogating the boundless over-stimulation and the gluttonous excesses that seem to define the postmodern existence. The New York event is produced by Villa Albertine and co-presented with the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Ukrainian Institute of America, and NYU’s Institute of Fine Arts, with the support of several organizations including RCI New York.

Drawing from his most recent books, Professor Bejan will talk about a holistic theory founded on the best science available of why freedom is the ultimate, inescapable goal in nature. Please register your participation directly on the Night of Ideas website HERE.

Adrian Bejan, a Romanian-born Duke University professor, has been ranked among the top 0.01% of the most cited and impactful world scientists. He is the author of 30 books of science and philosophy, has received 18 honorary doctorates from universities in 11 countries, and is the recipient of the Franklin Medal among other top accolades.

Taking place in more than 20 cities across the US from February 25 through March 4, 2023, Night of Ideas invites leading thinkers, activists, performers, authors, and academics to engage the public in discussions around a central question that addresses major, contemporary global issues. In New York, Night of Ideas 2023 will take place on Friday, March 3, starting from 4:30 pm until 12:00 am.

Our collaboration with Villa Albertine and Night of Ideas 2023 marks the anniversary of 30 years since Romania joined the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF).
