Um 20.30 Uhr, bei der Finissage der Ausstellung DADA GAMES, treffen wir die Künstlerin Lea Rasovszky im Rahmen eines Gesprächs über Wildheit, Dada und rumänische Popkultur.
"I am not really sure if, as an artist, you can (still) fully find yourself in dada, or better yet, I do not know if you can search for yourself in dada... but this is not something i'm particularly interested in. It is a simple and discrete matter of just being, without ever asking yourself how or why. I came to inherit some sort of dada particles in my DNA, they float in the inside, entire chromosomal phrases that come from that particular world. The feeling is strange but familiar, one that implies comfort but also, paradoxically, involves an animal-like accuracy. I am a mixture of thins from then and now, in a continuous blending process. I like not knowing but I also enjoy the detective game of discovering some small, human shaped root of mine, a Mandrake, let's say. That's how I'm dada and I will try to explain why Adrian Minune, why questionable TV stars, why Romanian pop-culture, why anti-drawing and non-beautiful thing, why I take the freedom to explore without pressure, and explore esthetics in my own terms."
