The Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv and the Embassy of Romania to the State of Israel are organizing the exhibition „Romania and Israel in the colours of nature”, that comprises works created in Romania and Israel by the members of the Israeli art group “Tzeva BaTeva”. The event is dedicated to the National Day of Romania.The exhibition will be open to the public at the Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv, between December 1st, 2014 – January 30th, 2015.
The opening of the exhibition will take place on November 11th, at 18:00. The program of the evening includes greetings by Dr. Simona Tanasescu, art critic and representative of the Romanian Ministry of Culture, Dr. Gina Pana, director of RCI Tel Aviv, Jacob Ben David, founder of the “Tzeva BaTeva” art group, and a music program performed by Amir Gad and Adam Frumkin, students of The Lin and Ted Arison Israel Conservatory of Music in Tel Aviv.
The ”Tzeva BaTeva” association has celebrated 20 years of activity in November 2014. The works comprised in the exhibition hosted by RCI Tel Aviv have been created in art workshops in Romania and Israel by 49 artists, members of the group. The exhibition includes art works by:

Dr. Simona Tanasescu is a well-known Romanian artist, cultural manager and art critic. She has graduated from the “Nicolae Grigorescu” Institute of Arts (currently the National University of Arts in Bucharest) in 1983 and has received her doctorate degree in Visual Arts in 2011. Her artistic activity includes numerous national and international exhibitions, as well as participations in various academic events in Romania and abroad.
The exhibition can be visited Monday to Thursday, from 10:00 to 16:00, at RCI Tel Aviv, 8 Shaul HaMelech Blvd., 6th floor.
