The next performance of our Digital Stage series is ”Artists Talk” by innovative playwright-director Gianina Cărbunariu, the driving force behind a radical aesthetic and thematic overhaul of Romanian theater of the last years. Never shy to ask the tough questions and to pierce the veils of hypocrisy and pretense, the show, structured as a succession of feigned Q&As, examines the role and responsibility of the artist as author of public discourse in a world where social dialogue has become ever more fractured or parochial. A witty, necessary, ironic performance, based on thorough documentation and expertly performed.
