ICR Berlin continuă noul ciclu de prezentări “Cuvântul românesc în spaţiul german ”, consacrat specialiştilor germani în limba, literatura și istoria românilor.
Dr. Anke Pfeifer(născută în 1955 la Berlin) a studiat limbi romanice (franceză, română) la Universitatea Humboldt din Berlin din 1974 până în 1978, urmând un an de studii la Universitatea din București în 1976/77. Din 1978 până în 1991 a lucrat ca asistentă de cercetare pentru literatura română la Institutul Central de Istorie a Literaturii de la Academia de Științe din RDG și și-a făcut doctoratul pe Năzdrăvăniile în literatura subânănd-din secarolea (dr. Eva Behring). A lucrat ca asistent de cercetare și conferențiar pentru literatură, cultură și limbă română la universități, colegii și instituții de cercetare din Berlin, Frankfurt / Oder, Potsdam, Wildau, Leipzig, Jena, Magdeburg, București (2008 Viena (2012 profesor invitat pentru studii literare și media românești). Din 2016-17 a condus un atelier de traducere la Institutul Cultural Român din Berlin. A scris numeroase articole de carte și reviste, articole pentru enciclopedii literare și recenzii despre literatura română (literaturkritik.de, broșuri germano-române, Spiegelungen). In paralel, traduce literatură, dialoguri cinematografice și texte de specialitate din limba română.
