In June 2020 we launched our first online literary program with a series of bilingual readings performed by some of the most important Romanian contemporary authors who imagined, in prose, essay or poetry, how the world would heal its wounds and begin again. While the end of the pandemic seems to be in sight, its afterlife is still the realm of imagination. So we have assembled another group of distinguished writers and have asked them to picture how life, ours and theirs, would look like when the virus is finally defeated.
The opening episode of "Life Anew"’s second edition, also created in partnership with the National Museum of the Romanian Literature in Bucharest, welcomes prominent poet, prose writer, essayist and editor COSMIN PERȚA, translated by Phoenixian ANDREW K. DAVIDSON, academic, translator and poet who now calls Bucharest his home.
