The Romanian artist Gusztáv Ütő will be presenting the action-art performance „Global-Local" and a master class, where he will be lecturing on the Performance Festival from the Lake Sfânta Ana (the only international performance festival in Romania). The action-art performance „Global-Local" will be presented on November 21, starting 13:30, on the square in front of the Center for Contemporary Art in Tel Aviv (5 Kalisher St.). Free entrance.
„In the past few years, I've often used bottle caps as visual and auditive small symbols of our consumer society. In a deeper and more meaningful sense, they serve me as a means of getting closer to or distancing mysef from our consumer cultural history. Consuming Art, Music, Theatre, Literature and Philosophy at the highest possible level; consuming water, juices, and beers in different geographical positions and at different times; consuming and thinking about this small liquid sealing mechanism". Gusztáv Ütő is a prominent artist from the Eighties Romanian Avant-garde, with a rich artistic, curatorial and didactic activity, very well appreciated within the international professionals of contemporary art. He is a member of the Romanian Fine Arts Union, of the ETNA Group, the MAMU Society etc.
The participation of the Romanian artist is supported by the Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv.

האמן הרומני גוסטב אוטו משתתף בביאנלה הבינלאומית למיצג ערפול 7 במרכז לאמנות עכשווית (תל אביב), 21.11.2009, בשעה 13:30
הביאנלה הבינלאומית למיצוג – ערפול 7 תתקיים בין התאריכים 18 – 21.11.009, במרכז לאמנות עכשיווית שבת"א. האירוע מאורגן בחסות עיריית תל אביב - יפו, משרד החוץ הישראלי – משרד המדע והתרבות – מינהל התרבות, ובשיתוף פעולה עם מכונים אירופיים לתרבות.
זהוי הפעם השביעית לקיום הביאנלה. האירוע יתקיים, כבעבר, במתחם המרכז לאמנות עכשווית, כמו גם באזורים הסמוכים – שוק הכרמל, נחלת בינימין, חוף ותחנת האוטובוסים כרמל.
האומן הרומני גוסטב אוטו יציג את יצירת המיצג "לוקלי – גלובלי" ויתן הרצאה בנושא "פסטיבל בינלאומי למיצג ב-Lacul Sfânta Ana - הפסטיבל הבינלאומי למיצג היחיד ברומניה.
"לוקלי – גלובלי" ייוצג ב-21 לנובמבר, בשעה 13:30, ברחבה ממול למרכז לאמנות עכשווית (רח' קלישר מס' 5, ת"א).
במעט השנים האחרונות,אני מרבה להשתמש בפקקים כבסמל קטן חזותי ומוסף של חברת הצריכה. במשמעות או מחשבה עמוקה יותר, הם משמשים אותי כאמצעי להקרב להיסטוריה התרבותיתהצרכנית שלנו או כאמצעי להתרחק ממנה. צריכת אמנות, מוזיקה, תיאטרון, ספרות, פולוסופיה ברמה הגבוהה ביותר האפשרית. וצריכת מים, מיצים, בירה במקומות גיאוגרפיים שונים ובזמים שונים. צריכה וחשיבה על מנגנון אטימה זה של נוזלים. גוסטב אוטו הוא אחד מהאמנים הבולטים של תנועת האוונטגרד הרומנית משנות השמונים, עם פעילות אמנותית, אוצרתית ודידקטית אשירה; הוא מעורך מאוד בין המקצענים הבינלאומיים השייכים לאמנות העכשווית. הוא חבר של אגודת האומנים ברומניה ושל אגודת MAMU, מיסד של קרן ETNA וכו'.
