On October 14th 2015, Romanian Cultural Institute in Beijing, organized an event presenting Romanian Jazz Music. The presentation was held by Mr. Alexandru Sipa, co-direct of the RoLand Jazz Festival in Romania. The presentation was accompanied by several musical examples. The audience, which also included several Chinese musician enjoyed the event, for most of them being the first time they had a chance to listen to Romanian jazz music.
Between October 11th and 25th, Chinese Jazz Association, in collaboration with Ministry of Culture, organized Jazz Director Tour and Forum in China. In this event the central and eastern European countries jazz festivals directors had a chance to meet with the Chinese jazz festival directors and to better understand the Chinese jazz music. Romania was represented by Mr. Alexandru Sipa, Mr. Konstantin Schmidt and Mr. Constantin Rosu.
