“Biblioteca prichindeilor” - an educational event dedicated to the children of the Romanian diaspora

We are delighted to open the doors to the children of the diaspora, organizing on February 4th, in collaboration with the "Biblioteca Prichindeilor" Association, an educational project tailored for the children of the Romanian diaspora. They are cordially invited to a book launch and a reading session conducted by Ioana Chicet-Macoveiciuc, known to the public as "The Urban Princess," the esteemed author of a blog and notable books dedicated to children.

The Urban Princess will enchant the audience with a tale of courage and resilience, answering the children questions and offering them autographs. "Biblioteca Prichindeilor" is a community-driven and voluntary initiative for non-formal education in the diaspora, aspiring to contribute to the enrichment of cultural knowledge within families fluent in the Romanian language. This initiative facilitates the complimentary borrowing of carefully curated books for children aged 0 to 18, creating regular opportunities for connection, play, and reading. It weaves enduring connections among Romanians passionate about reading from all corners of the globe."Biblioteca Prichindeilor" manifests its presence in 20 locations across 15 countries, offering books in the Romanian language catering to both children and adults, reaching over 1000 families within its extensive network. Among its allies are publishers and writers whose works are dedicated to both the young and the mature.
