The Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv invites you to a new production of the Israeli Opera in Tel Aviv: "Lucia di Lammermoor" by Gaetano Donizetti. Libretto: Salvadore Cammarano after Sir Walter Scott's novel The Bride of Lammermoor
The performances take place at the Tel Aviv Center for Performing Arts March 10-24, 2012.

Ionut Pascu, baritone, was born in 1977 in Romania. His repertoire includes Figaro in Le nozze di Figaro, Papageno in Die Zauberflote (Mozart), the title role in Yevgeny Onegin (Tchaikovsky), Lescaut in Manon Lescaut, Marcello in La boheme, Sharpless in Madame Butterfly (Puccini), Escamillo in Carmen (Bizet), Enrico in Lucia di Lammermoor (Donizetti), the title role in Nabucco and in Simon Boccanegra (Verdi) and other roles. He performs at the opera houses of Bucharest, Constanta, Timisoara in Romania, as well as in Hungary, South Korea, Slovenia and Italy.
At the Israeli Opera he performed in Cavalleria rusticana / Pagliacci .
