Between the 18th of April and the 3rd of May, 2016, the Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv is hosting the etchings exhibition of Anca Boeriu and Zuzu Caratănase.
The two artists are both graduates and teachers of the National Art University in Bucharest (UNArte). For this project, they selected 20 compositions with references on monuments and monumental compositions, expressed through two etching techniques: aquaforte with color intervention (Anca Boeriu) and linocut (ZuZu Caratănase).
Anca Boeriu (born 1957) is well known to the Romanian art environment through her sculptural drawings and etchings, shown in personal exhibitions and in all the major collective and group exhibitions organized by the Romanian Artists' Union. The exhibition is open to the public Monday - Thursday 10:00 - 16:00 hrs at Romanian Cultural Institute, Tel Aviv, 8 Shaul Hamelech blvd., 6th floor.
