AugustinBuzura (n. 22 septembrie 1938, Berința, județul Maramureș - d. 10 iulie 2017, București) a fost prozator, eseist și publicist, autor al unor scenarii cinematografice. Din 1992 a fost membru al Academiei Romane. A absolvit Facultatea de Medicină și Farmacie
