The tenor Daniel Magdal studied voice at the George Enescu Academy of Arts in his native city of Iași, Romania. In 1991 he started working at the Romanian National Opera in Iași, where he performed Don José (Carmen), Riccardo (Un ballo en maschera) and other roles.
