White Night Tel Aviv will take place this year on June 29th, in various cultural locations in Tel Aviv. For a third consecutive year, the EU Delegation and EU member states are participating at the White Night Tel Aviv program of events, the theme of this year being ”Performance Europa – breaching the boundaries of space”.
During a complex event which will take place on Thursday, June 29th, between 20:00-01:00, European artists and cultural projects, using new media means of expression (video projections, video mapping, interactive installations), will present a unique show for the public present in Rothschild Plaza in Tel Aviv
With the support of the Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv, the video artists group Mindscape Studio, represented by Dorel Naste- creative director and Cristian Iordache – interaction designer, will present to the Israeli the interactive video work ”Bucharest. Layer by Layer”, premiered during the 2016 edition of Bucharest White Night, organized by Arcub.
During the installation, participants will use rollers to “paint” the wall and by that discover video images of Romanian culture and history.

Entrance to the events is free.
Together with the Romanian project, the event will include artists from Austria (Ars Electronica – ”GigaPixel Viewer”, ”Brain Ranking”), Lithuania (Gluk Media – ”The Arkanoid”), Germany (Liv &Toby), Czech Republic (David Vrbik), Belgium (Carre Curieux – ”Entre Nous”) and Cyprus (Elena Antoniou and Stavros Gasparatos – ”I open my palm. I called a space”).
The events is organized by the Tel Aviv-Yaffo Muncipality, in collaboration with the Delegation of the European Union in Israel, embassies and cultural institutes of European states accredited in Israel.
